Netgear provides many wireless solutions for the residential market. Two solutions we sell the most of consist of one access point for a small wireless footprint (WGXB102) and one that provides a multi-room solution (WG602).

Netgear WGXB102 Wireless Access Point.

The WGXB102 is a companion product to the Powerline Ethernet Adapter, XE102. The WGXB102 comes as two pieces, an XE102 and a WGXB102 wireless unit that plugs into a room's electrical outlet. This product is targeted to broadcast into an area of moderate size without walls. There is not an external antenna to send a wireless signal for any great distance. It is a perfect product to extend a wireless signal into a room from an area of the residence that does have an ethernet connection. The MSRP of WGXB102 kit is $181.

The WG602 is an full function residential access point with an external antenna. Proper location of this unit can provide wireless service through many rooms of a residential home site. The WG602 is also capable of being a bridge or a repeater with one, or more companion wireless access points to provide full coverage of a larger home. The WG602 can also be fittted with an external building antenna to allow broadcasting to an outbuilding or several other residences in close proximity. The MSRP of the WG602 is $96.
